Oceanus Voyages

Travel Agent Terms & Conditions

Effective Date:   February 13, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern eligibility for trade commissions and incentives for Oceanus Voyages cruise products sold by travel agents and travel agencies (collectively, “Agent(s)”).

Definitions

  • Oceanus,” “we,” “us,” “our” means Oceanus Voyages.

  • Agent” means a travel advisor, travel agency, or host agency (and its registered sub-agents) that is properly registered with Oceanus for the applicable Season.

  • Season” means an Oceanus Voyages selling season, as defined in our Agent registration portal and/or trade communications.

  • Guest” means the traveler(s) booked on an Oceanus Voyages reservation.

  • Commissionable Fare” means the cruise fare components on which Oceanus pays commission, excluding government taxes, port fees/expenses, gratuities, insurance premiums, air/air add-ons, transfers, hotels, shore excursions, non-commissionable fees, and any other pass-through or third-party charges (unless Oceanus expressly designates an item as commissionable in writing).

  • Paid in Full” means Oceanus has received full and cleared funds for the reservation, including any adjustments, and the reservation is not subject to an unresolved chargeback or payment dispute.

  • Required Documentation” includes, as applicable: completed Agent registration for the Season, tax documentation (e.g., W‑9/W‑8), commission payment profile (e.g., EFT/ACH details), and any other documentation Oceanus reasonably requires to remit commission.

1. Registration Required for Commission Eligibility

Commissions may be earned only by registered Oceanus Voyages Agents. Registration is free and must be completed for each Oceanus Season. Oceanus may require Agents to keep profile, payment, and tax information current. Unregistered entities are not eligible for commission.

2. Invoices and Cruise Documents

Invoices and Cruise Documents will be sent either to the Agent or to the Guest, as directed by the Agent. Cruise Documents will not be released unless and until the reservation is Paid in Full.
Where operationally applicable, Oceanus generally releases Cruise Documents approximately 30 days prior to sailing once Paid in Full.

3. Commission Processing, Payment Timing, and Claim Window

Subject to these Terms:

  • Oceanus will process and remit commission within 30 days after (a) the reservation is Paid in Full and (b) Oceanus has all Required Documentation on file for the payee.

  • If Required Documentation is incomplete, commission will be processed within 30 days after documentation is completed (and no later than 60 days in typical circumstances, absent exceptions outside Oceanus control).

Commission Claims / Discrepancies:
If an Agent believes commission was not paid or was paid incorrectly, the Agent must submit a written claim (with booking number and supporting details) within 12 months of the sailing date (or, if the booking is canceled, within 12 months of the cancellation date). Oceanus will investigate and resolve valid claims.

4. No Netting of Commission; Condition Precedent

Agents may not “net” commission by subtracting commission amounts from payments remitted to Oceanus. Oceanus is not obligated to pay commission unless and until the reservation is Paid in Full.

5. House Accounts, Direct Guests, and Capacity Controls

a) House Account Definition

A Guest is considered an Oceanus “House Account” if the Guest booked directly with Oceanus and sailed on an Oceanus cruise within the prior 24 months of the reservation creation date.

b) House Account Commissionability

Bookings for House Accounts are non-commissionable unless Oceanus expressly approves commissionability in writing for that specific booking.

c) Disclosure at Booking (to reduce disputes)

Where Oceanus can identify House Account status at booking, Oceanus will make reasonable efforts to flag the booking as non-commissionable via confirmation and/or the Agent portal.

d) Capacity Controls

Commissionable cabins may be capacity-controlled by sailing and by category, including limits on the number and types of cabins eligible for commission.

6. Commission Rate

Oceanus will pay a base commission of 10% per eligible passenger based on the gross Commissionable Fare of the booking, excluding taxes, port fees, and non-commissionable components.

7. Tour Conductor (TC) Allowances / Complimentary Berths

Agents may earn Tour Conductor allowances as follows:

  • For every 15 berths sold, based on double occupancy, the Agent earns 1 berth to use on an Oceanus sailing in the same Season, subject to availability.

  • Triples and quads do not count toward berth count.

  • The Agent is responsible for all taxes, port fees, and other non-commissionable charges associated with the earned berth.

  • The berth awarded will be in the cabin category most represented by the berths sold (as determined by Oceanus), subject to availability.

  • Berths are non-transferable unless Oceanus approves in writing.

  • Oceanus reserves the right to substitute a complimentary berth with a cash equivalent or onboard credit equivalent where operationally necessary due to availability.

8. End-of-Season Sales Bonuses

Bonuses will be issued at the end of the Oceanus Season to Agents who sell more than one Oceanus Voyages cruise product.

Bonus thresholds (aggregate eligible sales):

  • $1,000 at $100,000+

  • Additional $500 at $150,000 (total $1,500)

The maximum bonus payable under this program is $1,500. Bonus eligibility is calculated on completed, non-canceled bookings and may exclude taxes/fees and other non-commissionable components.

9. No Commission on Agent’s Own Cabin / Other Agents’ Cabins

An Agent will not earn commission on the Agent’s own cabin and may not earn commission on another Agent’s cabin.

10. Agent Personal Booking Discount (in lieu of commission on own cabin)

For every commissionable cabin the Agent sells, that Agent will receive a 2% discount off the Agent’s personal Oceanus cabin purchased at the full fare price, up to a maximum 10% discount.

  • This discount applies to the Commissionable Fare portion only (not taxes/fees).

  • Discounts are subject to availability and may not be combinable with certain promotions unless Oceanus states otherwise in writing.

  • Oceanus may require the Agent’s personal booking to be in the same Season in which the qualifying sales were made.

11. Cancellations, Changes, and Commission Recall

If a reservation initiated by an Agent is canceled for any reason, Oceanus reserves the right to recall, reverse, or offset commissions due or previously paid.
If a booking is modified (category change, fare change, reprice, partial cancellation, or refund), commission may be recalculated accordingly. Oceanus may offset recalled amounts against future commission payments.

12. Credit Card Payments Submitted by Agent

If the Agent submits credit card payment on behalf of a Guest, the Agent represents that:

  • The Agent has full authority to charge the Guest’s account,

  • The Agent maintains written authorization and/or the Guest’s “signature on file,” and

  • The Agent will provide such authorization promptly upon request.

Agents are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable payment rules and data security requirements.

13. Deposits, Final Payment, Payment Plans, and Refundability

Deposits and final payments are the responsibility of the Agent on behalf of booked Guests.

  • Payment due dates and cancellation/refund rules are governed by the Guest booking terms and the fare type selected (including any non-refundable deposit or non-refundable fare programs).

  • Some Oceanus payment plans or promotions may be non-refundable as stated in the applicable fare rules at time of booking.

For information on payment plans and payment arrangements, contact the Oceanus Voyages Travel Agent Specialist at 1‑800‑960‑9036.

14. Travel Insurance

Purchase of travel insurance is strongly recommended. Oceanus may require written evidence that the Guest either:

  • Purchased travel insurance, or

  • Declined travel insurance after being advised of its benefits (“informed rejection”).

15. Acceptance and Updates to These Terms

By completing the Oceanus Agent registration form and/or booking Oceanus product, the Agent agrees to comply with these Terms.
